The characteristic dark and smoky flavors of French Roast are developed by roasting a blend of decaffeinated Latin American coffees a little hotter and longer than our regular roast. High-quality beans are needed to withstand both the effects of decaffeination and the darkness of the roast. This coffee is well-liked by those who want a rich, dark flavor without the caffeine.
