Colombian Supremo

Colombian Supremo is hearty, medium-to-full body, balanced acidity with a nutty caramel-like flavor and hints of walnut. It is a classically delicious cup of coffee.
Colombia, a Latin American country, ranks first among the world's "mild" coffee producing countries. Many coffee experts consider the sweet caramel taste of Colombian coffee to be its most distinguishing characteristic. The standards for growing and grading Colombian coffee are extremely high. So it's no surprise that Colombian coffee beans consistently rank among the world's highest quality.

The two exportable grades of Colombian coffee are Supremo and Excelso. Here at Zach & Dani's™, we're proud to offer Colombian Supremo, the highest grade available. All Supremo coffee beans are extra large washed Arabica beans, characterized by a big, bold flavor. It's best to roast your Colombian coffee beans to a medium-to-medium dark roast to bring out their full complexity. Colombian coffee beans are also great in blends because they offer a moderate body and smooth, mild flavor with delicious hints of Carmel. You'll love the way they energize your signature blends.

Growing Season - Most Colombian coffee is harvested twice a year, with the second harvest offering a smaller, secondary crop. The first picking season starts in March and extends into June. The second season starts in October and ends in January. Colombian coffees are grown in a wide range of climactic conditions along the equator, so flavor nuances can fluctuate. But one thing remains constant: Colombian coffee beans consistently deliver amazing flavor and a smooth, medium body.
